D'Aniello's Amity Bicycles
D’Aniello’s Amity Bicycles was co-founded by Guy and Sue D’Aniello in February, 1981. The original store was about 1000 square feet with a dirt basement. The store opened with less than thirteen bikes in the showroom. Twenty seven years later the store is over 3000 square feet and has over 200 bicycles in the showroom and an additional 200 in storage.

Guy and Sue’s bicycling background is in road racing. Guy has been racing since 1973 and Sue was United States Cycling Federation district representative for 8 years and Special Olympics World Games Cycling Commissioner. D’Aniello’s Amity Bicycles has been a proud sponsor of Laurel Bicycle Club since 1981 and Sue is presently the President of the club.In addition to sponsoring Laurel Bicycle Club, D’Aniello’s Amity Bikes sponsors the Elm City Scorchers Southern Connecticut Cycling Club and the Shoreline Sharks Triathlon Club.

The employees of D’Aniello’s Amity bicycles are all riders of different levels.

Whatever your riding interest is we have it covered: road riding (recreational or competitive), mountain biking, long distance touring, commuting, BMX, or riding for fun with the family we can help you out.

Our service department is a big part of our business. We take pride in our work and want it done right. We do except walk-ins but encourage people who do not like to give up their bikes for more than two days to call ahead of time to make an appointment during the warmer weather. This way you bring your bike in one day and pick it up the next. Our goal is to get you riding again as quick as possible.
