About ASF Sports and Outdoors
ASF Sports and Outdoors is a locally owned and operated sports and athletic store with locations in Westport (1560 Post Road East) and now in Shelton (just north of Sikorsky Aircraft on River Road – Route 110). Service, selection and value for our customers are the keystones of ASF. It’s not a cliché for us; it’s simply the way we do business.
Since 1986, we have built our reputation on unparalleled customer service and on our staff’s knowledge of sports. In addition, ASF is known throughout Fairfield County for its selection of competitively priced footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories and uncomplicated return policy. The stores also offer top of the line name brands for your team apparel needs.
ASF owner Chris Buchner has spent most of his life the area. Chris grew up in Trumbull, attended Fairfield University, and now lives in the area with his wife and two children. He believes strongly in supporting the local economy and organizations. The Westport store has a history of being a good neighbor in that area and he hopes to be the same in Shelton as well as the nearby towns of Trumbull, Stratford ,Monroe and the Valley.
