The first goal soundRUNNER strives to achieve in fulfilling its mission is to address individual needs. In fitting a runner for shoes, the staff at soundRUNNER follow the MODE protocol: measure, observe, discuss, evaluate. The protocol is critical for three reasons:
* Each runner has a unique gait
* Each foot is structured differently with respect to length, width, arch, instep, and other variables
* Each manufacturer responds to these differences with subtle yet powerful variations in design
