Supertraining
Supertraining is devoted to sports, strength and fitness science, training, therapy and education.

SUPERTRAINING discusses the theory and practice of sports science, biomechanics, physiology, medicine and psychology in sport, fitness and general health.

It pays special attention to strength training in Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, competitive sport and general fitness. Topics include weight and machine training, flexibility, Russian methods, periodisation, plyometrics, sports restoration, massage, nutrition, mental preparation, disability training and injury management.

It encourages questioning much of the fitness and training information to which everyone is exposed daily, because too much dogma, inaccurate information and belief are presented as fact in the fitness, sports and health markets today. We intend that interaction among members will serve as a valuable free source of useful information and education.

SUPERTRAINING is devoted to creating a supportive community of seekers after truth in all aspects of human performance to enable members to enhance quality of life and performance in as many ways as possible. Anyone with similar aspirations is welcome to join us.

This forum should be especially useful to those working in or seriously interested in strength training, sports conditioning, fitness, competitive lifting, bodybuilding, sports science, injury management, personal training and health.

To enhance group friendship, everyone is requested to SIGN ALL LETTERS with first and last names, city and country where they live. Unsigned letters will NOT be accepted.

Discussions are not meant to replace professional medical training advice. The Group Manager, Yahoo Groups or members may not be held responsible for any injury that may relate to use of any discussions.
